The Coupe will be on display in the museum until May 2010, so swing by and see it in the flesh as well as the other great exhibits on display. Ted Puryear had one request on his Christmas wish list when he came in to order his bike: he wanted something raw and tough looking that would stand out. Well, actually that’s three requests, but being that it’s Christmas and all, we let him have it. What he ended up with is an industrial strength West Coast Chopper. The sheet metal was cleared with a flat clear coat and most all the aluminum was brushed instead of polished, resulting in one no nonsense, kickass, matt black bike. Ted musta’ been a very, very good boy this year.
The bike is loaded with WCC signature components: Lawless wheels, JJ billet mid controls, our billet triple tree-risers, mirror, 113 inch S&S motor, handmade seat, and a Baker 6-speed right side drive transmission. The “Don’t fuck with me” attitude the bike gives off was thrown in free of charge.
